Ladies Day 2024 with Celine Sparks
September 28 | 9:00 AM
Theme: "Flying by the Seat of Our Pants!"
Celine Sparks is the author of Whatever Happened to Fried Chicken?, How to Train Your Dragon, Because I Said So, and most recently, If Mama Ain’t Happy. She served for 15 years as the humorist for Christian Woman magazine, and has freelanced for a number of other publications. She is the special events coordinator for children at Polishing the Pulpit, girls’ speech coordinator for Lads to Leaders Nashville convention, and is part of the adjunct faculty for Southeast Institute of Biblical Studies in Knoxville.
Celine lives in Huntsville, Alabama where she and her husband, Scotty, worship and work with the Meridianville Church of Christ. Their children, Abram (Lexie), Mattianne, Miriam (John), and Enoch, are involved in churches in Nashville, Huntsville, and Memphis areas. Celine enjoys speaking at women’s spiritual events throughout the country, but struggles with everyday events such as understanding how to get her car in line at Chick-fil-A and getting her lawn chair back in the bag, but if you like burnt cookies and dead houseplants, she’s your girl. She’s addicted to creamers with a shot of coffee, word games, and sending texts to the wrong people. She loves teaching and learning, and would rather laugh than eat, but just barely.
